01
Live ATC Route
The current route, continuously monitored.
- The ATC timeline runs from NOW towards the destination. Passed sectors and completed departure services are not appended at the end.
- ATC WATCH / ALL and search retain online stations independently of the forward timeline. Proximity alone does not make an unrelated APP/DEP responsible for your destination.
- CURRENT / NEXT / LATER controllers from the live VATSIM network, assessed against the monitored flight route.
- Controller names and callsigns, route relevance and route/direct distance provide context for the next contact.
- ATC Route quality and controller changes help you assess the route as it currently stands.
- vPilot instruction reconciliation helps you review communications alongside the monitored ATC route.
- Offline controllers are not predicted. Network information may be incomplete or change without notice.
02
vPilot communications
Messages with the identity you actually connected with.
- Receive incoming vPilot communications and send private messages to ATC.
- Send operational pilot-to-pilot messages.
- The connected vPilot callsign is authoritative for outbound messages.
- FOLLOW changes the monitored flight, never the sender identity.
- The FlightWatch vPilot bridge is required for this integration.
03
Radio awareness
COM1 in view. Every action deliberate.
- See COM1 active and standby frequencies.
- Tune explicitly and swap frequencies through user actions.
- Fenix A320 support is included in the radio workflow.
- There is no automatic tuning or automatic swapping.
04
CPDLC / PDC-DCL
Structured datalink with pilot confirmation.
- Hoppie integration for structured CPDLC requests and departure-clearance workflows.
- Choose a station from the ATC Route, nearby datalink stations or a manual entry.
- Preview requests before sending.
- Respond manually with WILCO, UNABLE or STANDBY.
- Clearances are not accepted automatically.
05
Mobile Receiver
A read-only companion on your local network.
- Pair your phone by QR code while it is on the same LAN / Wi-Fi as the PC.
- Read ATIS, CPDLC/PDC and ATC messages.
- Review ATC Route changes and Flight History.
- No cloud relay is required.
- The phone cannot send commands in the current Mobile Receiver.
06
Thermal printing
A compact operational record on paper.
- Use Windows-supported printers, including POS / thermal printers.
- Choose 50, 58, 80 or 90 mm paper, or a custom width.
- Adjust font scaling to your printer and paper.
- Print ATIS, CPDLC and PDC/DCL in a compact operational format.
- Compact 58 mm output and configurable ESC/POS footer feed: 0–10 lines, default 0, under Settings → Output. Use TEST PRINT to check your printer.
07
Flight History
An event timeline for each flight.
- Review the current flight and older flights.
- Follow ATC changes, communications, CPDLC, ATIS and alerts in the timeline.
- History and retention are local to the application.
08
More flight context
Supporting tools around the route and communications.
- Airport Mode and Cockpit Mode support different operational views.
- Traffic, ATIS and weather provide additional context.
- Choose a dark or light theme in the application.
- These features support the core ATC Route and communication workflows.
10
Runway layout & wind
Compare physical runway ends and wind at arrival.
- The diagram uses local AIRAC runway coordinates, headings and lengths when available, with a runway-database fallback.
- RUNWAY WIND MATRIX compares headwind, crosswind and tailwind at each runway end using ETA wind where available.
- ATC RUNWAY lets you record a controller-assigned runway yourself, with confirmation. Wind rankings and real-world ATIS are advisory, not VATSIM clearance.
- Unknown operational eligibility stays unknown. Published category-specific DA/MDA/RVR approach minima are not provided.
11
Weather ahead & sources
NOW / +30 / +60 / ETA, with provenance.
- Inspect conditions along the route and the destination forecast valid at ETA where available.
- SOURCES shows the target location, time, source and confidence. METAR observations, airport TAF forecasts and regional estimates are identified separately.
- Missing weather remains unavailable. The route-weather update corrects nearby-station lookup for NOW / +30 / +60.
12
Flight insights & diagnostics
Understand the information behind the display.
- Route self-audit compares confirmed online route sectors with the forward timeline. Stability indicators highlight changes between CURRENT/NEXT snapshots.
- Cockpit Mode adds active-leg, next-fix, weather-source and ATC-stability context. Debrief summarises recorded events, not confirmed ATC contacts.
- API HEALTH runs on demand. A responding local endpoint does not prove that its remote service is connected.
- DIAGNOSTIC ZIP exports selected flight data locally after confirmation, with a visible download link if automatic download does not start.
